Game 3 Playoff Shirts (pictured above) being handed out at Staples Center tonight for all those attending.
“It was a tough loss, yes, but the biggest thing for us was that we found some things out defensively that we feel like we can do that’s effective. They did a great job. It was a great comeback by them in the last two minutes, or whatever it is. They got themselves a gritty win, and now it’s on us to go back home and defend our home court.” —Kobe Bryant
Tip-off at 7:30PM PST on ESPN at STAPLES Center. Let’s hope the Lakers take this one tonight.
Pau Gasol presented the J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award before Game 3 for outstanding service and dedication (notably his work with UNICEF) to the community. Metta World Peace won the award last year for his work in raising awareness on mental health and also raising money for mental health charities.
“It’s a great honor for any player to receive. It should be an honor for any player to have the opportunity to give back and to make the community better, be a role model to all the other kids and people. I think it’s very important when you have that opportunity, you take advantage of it. You maximize it.” —Pau Gasol on receiving the awardWell-deserved, congrats Pau!
